Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2007, Amélie Bouviala advises professionals and professional organisations, primarily in the agricultural and agri-food sectors, both on advisory matters and in litigation. She also helps them understand and anticipate regulatory developments.
On a day-to-day basis, Amélie Bouviala assists recognised interbranch organisations from a variety of sectors with their establishment, structuring and recognition, and with the extension of interbranch agreements, in particular financing agreements. In the context of her competition law practice, she has developed specific expertise in notifications to the European Commission.
She also advises professionals on contracting matters and on structuring supply chains as recognised producer organisations (POs) or associations of producer organisations (APOs). She supports professionals in implementing sustainability initiatives and in relation to official quality and origin schemes (SIQO), whether regarding amendments to product specifications, their application, or related litigation.
Her practice focuses in particular on EU law, competition law, non-profit organisations law and product regulation, including products covered by official quality and origin schemes.
Before joining Alinea, Avocats Associés, Amélie Bouviala began her career in Brussels in leading French law firms in the fields of competition law and international trade law.
